How to create timely waited mutex with WIN32?

I want to create a Mutex having wait period.

How can I create it using WIN32 API?

    a. You can Create a Mutex using CreateMutex API. You cannot specify the time period while you create a Mutex.
    b. Whenever you wait for a mutex object you can specify the time value. Use WaitForSingleObject/WaitForMultipleObject API with time period you want to specify.

Hope this will clear your doubts.
