    How to know that processor/CPU supports SSE or SSE2 instruction set or not?

    I am developing an low level application which executes some processor based instruction sets. I can use WIN32 api. I want to know whther processor/CPU supports SSE or SSE2 instruction set or not. Based on that I will write code. Please help.

    Use following code to get your requirement:

    Code:
    BOOL IsSupportSSE2()
    {
    	return IsProcessorFeaturePresent(PF_XMMI64_INSTRUCTIONS_AVAILABLE) ;
    }
    IsSupportSSE2() returns "1" if processor supports SSE2.
