    Please let me know the difference between function object/pointer and lambda.
    How is it useful in C++?

    a. Function pointers are address to a function.

    b. Function objects are a function or a class having call operator (() operator) implemented.

    c. Lambda
    1. Lambdas are anonymous function.
    2. You can define lambdas inside a function.
    3. You can use Lambdas as function.
