Question How to find service name from service display name?

    Hi everyone,

In Windows 7 I'm trying to find the service name from the display name. Since services.msc does not list the service name it's kind of hard to find the service name unless you go one by one looking at properties. Is there easier way to do this?

    Thanks.

From the command line type "sc query". Then look for display name you want and on the top you will see the service name. You can do something like this:
    C:\>sc query > output.txt

    Then search in output.txt.
