    edit / delete startup items

I have a problem with my windows server , Everytime i start it up it takes too long to be ready for use , it opens a lot of application firstly then be ready for use and that annoys me a lot as it could take up to 5 minutes , and my clients gets upset some times , is there a way i can evade that and increase the uptime ?.

Yes that is a startup item problem , to evade that you have to decrease the number of startup applications as possible and to do so you can do that :
    1) Startup > Run > msconfig
    2) Go to Startup tab
    3) Un check the application you do not need to be launched at startup

** TAKE CARE : do not un check application that must work on startup like Anti-viruses or system application , in case you have a server and you could disable something critical that could stop the server functionality so if there is an application you do not know what it does , simply let it as it is or google it to find out what is it .
