    TP-LINK WR340G security setup

I have that access point : TP-LINK WR340G and i`d like to setup a security for it , so no one can enter my private network and use my INTERNET connectivity , and could you please explain which security mode is better : i.e [WEP , WPA , WPA2] .
    Thanks in advance .

I`ll walk through this with you , just follow my steps :

    1) go to your access point web-page [ usually : 192.168.1.1]
    2) enter username and password for access point authentication [ Usually : username/password = admin]
    3) Hit the Wireless tab
    4) Choose security type WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK if possible
    5) Set Security Option & Encryption to Automatic
    6) Now type the PSK Passphrase and make sure it is longer than 8 characters for more security

Now , what is the best security mode ?
It is the WPA2-PSK , it is very stronger and enhanced than WPA-PSK
Please stay a way of WEP Security option as it is very weak and it can be cracked within minutes .
But however WEP Security option is preferred for old devices that does not support WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK security
I had an old device before that does not support any security option above WEP , and i couldn`t figure out why it does not want to access my wireless network .

Hope i illustrated it enough .
