    Here are the Steps :
    1- create the network
    2- do the connection (wires)
3- configure the trunk port [i.e each int that connects switchs together give it : switchport mode trunk]
4- in each switch , set all interfaces except for the trunk ones to ACCESS mode for security of vlans database
5- configure VTP [name, password and mode(server or client or transparent)] and you must configure the VTP
also set one switch to Server and the others to client because when configure vtp you add vlans on a switch
and then all other switches adds it automatically
    VTP Creation :
    on the server switch type
config t > vtp domain (name) <<-- here you are created a vtp domain
6- to create a vlan just go to config mode then type vlan (number) then enter , the vlan will be created
7- give the vlans name after creating : type name (THE_NAME)

    VLAN-SWITCHING Configuring :
    1) Configure TRUNK
    a) Define the Interfaces that connects the switches together and set them to trunk
If switch is old and does not support ISL
          Switch(config)#int fa0/1
          Switch(config-if)#switchport mode trunk
    If switch supports ISL & 802.1Q :
          Switch(config)#int fa0/1
          Switch(config-if)#switchport trunk encapsulation dot1q
          Switch(config-if)#switchport mode trunk

    b) Set rest of the interfaces to access mode
          Switch(config)#int range fa0/2 - 24
          Switch(config-if)#switchport mode access
    2) Configure VTP
    a) Set one Swtich to server and rest to client for more security:
          Switch(config)#vtp mode server
          Switch(config)#vtp mode client
    b) Give it a domain name:
          Switch(config)#vtp domain XXXXXX
