How can I clear password cache in Windows?

    Hello,

I have some passwords set for Windows Server 2008 R2 to remember the passwords. However now I would like to remove windows from remembering the passwords.
    How can I do this?

The easy way to clear the password cache is from the password manager. Go to Start->Run or hold down the windows key and press 'R'. Type in "control userpasswords2" without the quotes. Then click on the Advanced tab and then "Manage Passwords". The Windows Vault window will come up. You can remove the passwords you want from here. This works on Windows desktops also. The only thing is that on XP and 2003 it will not say Windows Vault.
