    Creating an installer for my application

    I have created an application but i need to create an installer for it , i have seen installshield it is very advanced and i have used the visual studio installer and it is sucks , so i was wondering if there is another installer which is simple i could use , all i want is to add files and add entry in registry

    You can Inno Installer it is very nice and easy and will generate installer for you
    And when finishing the setup wizard , just add that registry example value :
    Code:
    [Registry]
    Root: HKLM; Subkey: "SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run"; ValueType: string; ValueName: "Reminder"; ValueData: "yourvalue"
    That was an example of running the application at startup and here is a snippet of the installer generated code :
    Code:
    ; Script generated by the Inno Setup Script Wizard.
    ; SEE THE DOCUMENTATION FOR DETAILS ON CREATING INNO SETUP SCRIPT FILES!

    #define MyAppName "Key-Chi-Koja.com Reminder"
    #define MyAppVersion "1.0"
    #define MyAppPublisher "Key-Chi-Koja"
    #define MyAppURL "http://Key-Chi-Koja.com"
    #define MyAppExeName "Reminder.exe"

    [Setup]
    ; NOTE: The value of AppId uniquely identifies this application.
    ; Do not use the same AppId value in installers for other applications.
