In PHP you can pass parameter like that : ....../index.php?id=1&name=myname
So it is pretty the same on ASP , as you send parameter like that : ......../Default.aspx?id=i&name=myname

To read it in ASP , you will need to read it using Querystring.
Example :
Code:
string id = Request.Querystring["id"].ToString();
string name = Request.Querystring["name"].ToString();
id will equal 1
name will equal myname

and if you are using POST then you will have to read it like that :
Code:
string id = Request.Form["id"].ToString();
string name = Request.Form["name"].ToString();
